Experience Life iconAs a refreshing alternative to traditional textbooks, the iPad is a great tool for introducing complicated science to children of all ages. This week’s App of the Week, Experience Life, takes advantage of the iPad’s interactive capabilities by allowing children to navigate through the inner workings of the human body with a fun, hands-on approach. The app was developed by IDi Creative, a studio focused on creating high quality educational content, and was recently featured as New and Noteworthy in the Spanish App Store.

The app seamlessly tackles a complex subject matter by walking through the functions of the senses, the nervous system, and the musculoskeletal system and incorporating vibrant graphics and loads of interactivity. It’s entertaining and informative for people of all ages – both you and your child will not only have a blast flipping through the gorgeous illustrations, but you’ll also learn a ton of new and interesting information.

For anyone with a keen interest in science, I highly recommend you check out Experience Life (available in both English and Spanish) for $2.99 in the App Store.
