This week we discussed app marketing using video with Apptamin’s Sylvain Gauchet. Sylvain shared some great tips for using video effectively to improve your app sales, increase media exposure, and potentially attract financial backers. Also joining us on the developer panel was Ed Maurina, Gerald Bailey, and coding ninja, Jesse Warden.

Be sure to listen in on the full hangout for more details and check out Apptamin’s blog for more app marketing tips.

Also, as we mentioned during the hangout, be sure to check out Roaming Gamer’s new Corona game templates. There’s lots of good stuff in his game template library.

Corona Labs T-Shirt Winner

This week’s t-shirt winner was Paulo Dichone. Paulo followed Corona Geek on social media and then completed the Corona Geek giveaway registration form for a chance to win a Corona Labs t-shirt. It’s that simple.

Thank you for watching, listening, and supporting the show and we’ll see you on next week’s Corona Geek hangout.

  1. Hey Charles! Great shirt- love the Mindgrub Games swag!! Love this episode- this is great stuff, I’ll have to become a regular viewer for sure! It was great meeting you at the Games Expo in Austin!

  2. Charles McKeever says:

Thank you Alex. It was great to talk with you at SXSW and to see all the people at the Mindgrub Games booth. Thank you for the great t-shirt. Next time I wear it on the show, I’ll try to get more of the design in the video :)

Let me know when we can get you guys on a hangout. We’d love to hear your developer story.

  3. Nice video. Thank you for the tips.

At first, I didn’t know how to use video to effectively promote an app, but with this post, I learned how to increase app exposure (and hopefully – sales).

I’ll definitely bookmark this post and probably watch the video again.
