Upcoming Event – First Corona SDK Meetup In Dallas

Upcoming Event – First Corona SDK Meetup In Dallas

All great things start with a single first step. That’s why its time to hold our first meeting so we can take the important first step toward building a great Corona SDK developer community here in Dallas.

Here’s how to attend:

Where: Sherlocks Pub, http://g.co/maps/nkgzf
When: Friday, May 4th, 2012 @ 6pm – 9pm
Cost: None
Special Notes: Wear your favorite t-shirt.

To help us kick things off Dr. Brian Burton, author of Beginning Mobile App Development with Corona will be joining us to help answer questions about the Corona SDK. Dr. Burton teaches a course on mobile development at Abilene Christian University and he is a Corona SDK Ambassador.

As a creative person with great ideas, this event is your chance to connect with other incredibe people. Story tellers, writers, artists, programmers, business types, we all have a skill we can use to create great things together.

The Corona SDK makes it possible to rapidly prototype and develop mobile apps on iOS, Android, Nook, and Kindle devices without needing to learn a complicated programming language. That means you can spend more time being creative.

This first meeting is all about connecting and getting to know each other. Whether you’re new to mobile development or you’ve been developing for years, this event will put you in the same room with other talented people. Building relationships is what its all about, so come out and join us.

See you at the meetup,

Charles McKeever
Corona SDK Ambassador
