He shared a number of tips and insights that you’ll want to hear, even you’re not creating children’s apps. We also, looked at code for creating 2.5D perspective using the new Graphics 2.0 engine.

Recently we sat down with with Tap for Tap Founder, Eric Dyck to discuss app monetization. Eric explained how Corona app developers can promote their apps and make money using Tap for Tap’s plugin for Corona SDK. Eric also shared some insights into where he thinks app monetization is headed in the coming year.
During this week’s Corona Geek we talked with cartoonist and Corona developer, Noah Malewicz about his award winning game, CityBirds. Noah created all the art work and code for his game. Noah shares his thoughts on rapid development and how Corona SDK helped him build a game that feels like playing a cartoon.
During this week’s Corona Geek we talked with PlayLevel’s Barry Swan about his experience working with Corona SDK’s Graphics 2.0 engine. Barry created several interesting 2.5D demos while alpha testing Graphics 2.0. He’s has been able to use his years of game development knowledge in some very creative ways. Barry also showed us an impressive demo app he’s working on for the Graphics 2.0 Contest.
Monday’s Corona Geek was a long one. We hung out with CEO, Walter Luh to discuss the exciting new Corona SDK Graphics 2.0 Public Beta. Walter talked about some of the new graphics filter effects while sharing some insights into where Corona SDK has been and where it’s headed.
