Corona updated to Google API level 25 (Android 7.1)

To help apps get featured and to provide support for more modern versions of Android, Corona Labs engineers have updated Corona to target Android API level 25. This gives you access to Android 7.0 and 7.1 features which Google often looks for when choosing featured apps for the Google Play store.

These changes are effective in daily build 2017.3049 which will be made available today.

With API level 25, there may be a few visual changes since more Material Design features are used, in particular around default status bars. Thus, we recommend that you test your apps before re-submitting them. If you do not want to target the new API levels, please continue to use a Corona build previous to 2017.3049 (these builds target API level 23).

If you have questions or feedback about this change, please ask in the Android forum.
