Corona Geek #173 – Adding Game Controller Support

Corona Geek On today’s Corona Geek Hangout we finished development on our top down shooter series with a look at how to add game controller support to desktop games. We examined the difference between analog and digital inputs with a look at working with axis events versus key events. We also shared code snippets for normalizing rotation and splitting strings on specific values.

You can replay all 11 videos in the series from the Corona Geek Channel and you can download source code for the game to see how all the pieces fit together.
