Roj Niyogi Appointed Corona Labs CEO

Corona Labs LogoToday we are happy to share that Roj Niyogi, founder and President of Perk.com, has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Corona Labs Inc. Mr. Niyogi will lead Corona Labs as a division of Perk.com.

Corona Labs’ previous CEO, Walter Luh, moved into an advisory role when Perk acquired Corona Labs on December 1, 2015.

Ted Hastings, Chief Executive Officer of Perk, commented, “Roj has done exceptional work in his role as President of the Company. He helped create Perk and is the perfect choice to lead this division. We believe his knowledge and expertise will prove invaluable in the acceleration of our rewards model and monetization solution through the Corona Labs platform, and we expect to experience similar success as to the rapid ongoing widespread adoption of our rewards model through our Perk owned and operated mobile applications and websites.”

      Hi Roj,

      Walter did a great job, we expect nothing less from you. 😉

      But with all the goals for the next years, please don’t overwork the team – they did a great job the last years, with only about two handful of people, and made lots of complicated stuff really easy for us. They deserve to be treated as the geniuses they are! My team and me are really thankful, without the Corona Labs SDK it would not have been possible to create our games so fast and stable (zero issues on iOS side, almost no issues on Android side, with millions of players).

    We expect great work in Business apps. Try to make GUI for business apps as soon as possible & Corona Viewer local sync.

    Welcome. When you buy the company I suppose that you can have any position that you want. CEO sounds reasonable.

    Welcome,

    Interesting a Perks card company buying a development platform. I have played with Corona for many years and I was coming back to it which is how I found this thread. I guess with this new ownership.. which I find odd I will hold off until we see what you allow the team to do.

    Here is to seeing what you guys do.
