There wasn’t a normal Monday Corona Geek hangout last week because I was flying back from California, but I did have the opportunity to talk with Ricardo Rauber Pereira about his new Corona SDK development tool, Game Coder which is a new iOS app that allows you to build a game on your iPad. Ricardo explained how projects can be exported to Corona for editing and then published for iOS devices.
On Monday’s hangout we’ll be talking with Stian Saunes from 10FINGERS AB about Corona Paper, the digital magazine devoted to mobile development using Corona SDK. Stian Saunes, one of Corona Paper’s Technical Editors, is going to tell us where the idea for the magazine came from, why a mobile app studio is also creating a magazine, and what we can expect to see in future issues.
Recently I got the chance to hangout with Michelle Fernandez, author of the Corona SDK Mobile Game Development: Beginner’s Guide. Just like the title implies, her book introduces you to mobile game development using the Corona SDK and the Lua language. If you’ve never programmed or created a game, Michelle’s book will step you through everything you need to know.
